Privacy policy
How Candour Media Solutions collects, uses and protects your personal information. Last updated 5 November 2026.
Introduction
At Candour Media Solutions, we value your privacy as much as we value our own. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit our website or use our services. We are committed to handling your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Information we collect
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily give us, along with some technical data:
Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and business name.
Project information: details about your business, your marketing goals and your visual production needs.
Technical data: IP address, browser type and usage data, collected through your browser and, if you accept them, analytics cookies.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide and improve our services.
Communicate with you about enquiries, quotes or ongoing projects.
Send marketing communications and updates, only if you have opted in.
Analyse website traffic to improve your experience of the site.
Our enquiry form
When you send our enquiry form, your details are stored in a private record on this website that only site administrators can open, and a copy is emailed to support@candourmedia.com.au.
The private record is deleted automatically after 12 months. That automatic deletion doesn’t reach the emailed copy, which stays in our inbox until we remove it.
Two measures protect the form from spam. A hidden field that people never see catches automated submissions, and a rate limit stops too many messages coming from one connection. The rate limit uses a scrambled version of your IP address, held for a short time.
Cookies and Google Analytics
Cookies are small files that a site transfers to your device through your web browser. We use Google Analytics to see which pages help people.
Google Analytics stays off unless you accept it in the cookie notice. If you accept, Google’s tag loads and analytics cookies switch on, and your browser sends Google information such as the page address and your IP address.
If you decline, or make no choice, Google’s tag does not load. Advertising cookies stay off either way. When analytics is on and a form is sent, we may record that it was sent, never what it said.
Your choice is remembered in your browser’s storage. To change it, clear this site’s data in your browser and the notice will return. If your browser blocks storage, we can’t remember your choice. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings, which may affect how you use the site, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services. Its privacy policy says information may be processed on servers outside the country where you live, so analytics data may leave Australia.
Data security and storage
We use a variety of security measures to help keep your personal information safe. Your data is stored on secure servers, and access is restricted to authorised personnel who are required to keep it confidential. No website can promise perfect security, so please don’t send passwords or payment details through our form.
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties.
Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party sites and services, including WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook. These have separate and independent privacy policies, and we have no responsibility or liability for their content or activities.
Your rights
You have the right to:
Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
Request that we correct any inaccuracies in your data.
Opt out of marketing communications at any time, by clicking “unsubscribe” or contacting us directly.
